To mark the 10th anniversary of the Journal of Youth Studies, the final issue of 2008 will be reserved for a special issue and we would like to encourage interested readers to submit short proposals. The person or group submitting the proposal will be expected to act as guest editor for the special edition, to oversee the refereeing process, to liaise with contributors with regards to revisions and to produce an issue containing a strong and coherent collection of papers within an agreed deadline.

Interested parties are requested to send a short proposal (approximately one page) to the Editor, Professor Andy Furlong.
The proposal should describe the scope of the proposed theme and make a case to justify the dedication of a special issue to this particular theme at this point in time. Proposers should also highlight any editorial experience.
